Wow! Apparently I managed to hit a home run on my first at bat! Trust me, I was totally clueless. My approach to the site though was to be open, jump in, have fun and introduce myself to the site and learn from the experienced bloggers. The Active Rain members have exceeded my expectations. I'm excited to get to know everyone and hopefully soon I'll be making my own contributions. This week I've set aside to explore the site and apply some of the tech tips that have come my way. Thanks to all the Active Rainers that have made this rookie feel welcome.
Thanks for visiting. For information or if you would like to search for homes in the Georgetown/Round Rock/Cedar Park areas with no hassle or obligation be sure and check out Austin/Williamson County Texas Home Search

Anybody that looks like your picture is in at Active Rain! What? That's not you?
it is amazing how nice everyone is... I am also a newbie.... I am glad to be here...glad you are too...
I have to introduce you to my friend Glenda.... you look like her type! :) k
Welcome to the Rain.
I love dogs!!
I'm just not so sure about using one as your main photo, though.
When I set up my profile I didn't have the usual REALTOR photo on my laptop. Besides Wiley is better looking than me. I'll have plenty of pics of both of us on my new website when it gets up and running.
Mike, welcome to ActiveRain! This is a great place to learn from your peers. Blogging does pay off in the long run.
Mike, You've discovered rightly. This is a very inclusive group of professionals.
All the Best!
Mike, Welcome! You'll not only find you learn something every visit to AR, and make friends.......but there's something subtly addicting about logging in, networking, reading, gossiping and writing your blog. And, did I mention the point system? ; ))
Glenda, Wiley saw the post... I tried to hide it from him. He begs to know if your friend is a -----. "No Wiley, I can't say that!"
Hi Mike - I think some of the Rainers thought that Wiley wrote the post, and they were really impressed with his conversational style and canine typing skills. Welcome to the Rain!
Oops! I just learned a lesson. Double check your post before hitting send! That last post should have been addressed to Kathy regarding her friend Glenda. Apologies to both. Mike
